*This Saturday* - Presented by the International Plastic Modelers Society and Lt. Alexander Pearson Modeleers Chapter. The show will have Model Contests, Club Display Tables, Free “Make and Take” kits for kids, and Raffle Prizes. The show will run from 10:00AM until 3:00PM.

Saturday, March 11th, 2006 – Mount Hood Model Engineers Train Operating Day – *This Saturday* - A day where the Mount Hood Model Engineers will thoroughly go over your HO train set and check the wheel gauge, coupler height, car weight and engine performance. You will then be let loose on their 1000 square foot HO scale layout. They are located at 5500 SE Belmont Street in Portland, OR. Saturday, March 18th, 2006 – Pacific Model Loggers’ Congress – *Next Saturday* - Located 18 miles east of Seaside, OR on Hwy 26. Official program begins at 9:00 AM sharp. Plan to spend the whole day. Admission is $10.00 per person.

 

Saturday & Sunday, April 8th-9th, 2006 – 18th Annual Model Railroad Show & Swap Meet – Located at Lane County Fairgrounds 796 West 13th Avenue, Eugene, Oregon. The hours on Saturday are 10AM to 5PM and the hours on Sunday are 10AM to 4PM. For exhibitors the setup times are Saturday at 7:30AM & Sunday at 8:30AM. There is an optional setup day Friday, April 7th, 2006 from 10AM to 10PM. Saturday & Sunday, April 22nd-23rd, 2006 – Model Train Swapmeet – The show will take play at the Rickreall Grange Hall at 280 Main Str. (Hwy 99W) in Rickreall, Or. It will take place both Saturday and Sunday from 9:00AM until 3:00PM. Admission for adults is $4.00 and for kids it is free and parking is free. For more information contact Tom at 503-606-0398. Vendors – Tables are available at 503-606-0398. The prices for tables are as follows: 6’ Table is $15.00, 8’ Table is $20.00, and a 12’ table is $30.00. Saturday, May 20th, 2006 – 8th Annual Meet-‘N’-May – The show will be located at 6300 SW Wilson Ave. Beaverton, OR at the Fir Grove Elementary School. Admission is $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for children (Ages 6-12) and free for children under 6. There will be two full rooms of vendor tables. The activities are Intermediate and Advance Clinics (Subject to change) Raffles, Door Prizes and the Swap Meet. The topics covered in the clinics are Foreground Trees by John McCarthy, Removable Dioramas by Mark Lawler, Demystifying Digital Details by Bill Chown, and Weathering by Wash by Don Tousley. Vendor tables will cost $15.00 for non-commercial tables and $20 for commercial tables. Saturday, May 20, 2006 – 2nd Annual Rails by the Bay - Pacific Northwest Railroad Prototype Modelers Meet – Located in Bellingham, Washington at The Hampton Inn Bellington, Airport Location, Fox Hall. Hours are 9 AM to 6 PM. This RPM event is open to all modelers and will feature railroads of the Pacific Northwest, but models of all prototypes are welcome. You’ve heard about it before, now come see what RPM and Free-Mo are about. This meet includes Model displays and dioramas, clinics, Free-Mo modular layout display area, and Social Discussion area.

Saturday, October 28th, 2006 – First Annual All Brass Model Train Show – The show will be located at Shilo Inn Airport Convention Center just East of I-205 on Airport Way The show hours will be from 10:00AM to 3:00PM. Vendors setup from 8:00AM to 10:00AM and close out from 3:00PM to 5:00PM. Soldering and Detailing Clinics will take place. Soldering for Beginners at 8:30AM, Mechanical Tooling at 9:15AM, and Detailing for Beginners from 2:00PM to 3:00PM. 8’ Vendor tables are available for $50.00. Consignment Tables are available for a 10% fee. There will be a test track for most scales. For Shilo Inn room reservations call 1-800-222-2244. Airport Shuttle is available. Don’t forget to ask for the Show Room rate and mention the Brass Show.
