*TODAY*Saturday, October 28th, 2006 – First Annual All Brass Model Train Show – The show will be located at Shilo Inn Airport Convention Center just East of I-205 on Airport Way The show hours will be from 10:00AM to 3:00PM. Vendors setup from 8:00AM to 10:00AM and close out from 3:00PM to 5:00PM. Soldering and Detailing Clinics will take place. Soldering for Beginners at 8:30AM, Mechanical Tooling at 9:15AM, and Detailing for Beginners from 2:00PM to 3:00PM. 8’ Vendor tables are available for $50.00. Consignment Tables are available for a 10% fee. There will be a test track for most scales. For Shilo Inn room reservations call 1-800-222-2244. Airport Shuttle is available. Don’t forget to ask for the Show Room rate and mention the Brass Show. *TODAY*Saturday, October 28th, 2006 – Southwest Washington Model Railroaders Open House – The Open House will take place from 10:00AM till 4:00PM. There is no charge. The location of this event is 8100 E. Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA in the building behind Safe Harbor Nazarene Church with Bordering Parking Lot off 82nd Ave. A can of food will be appreciated.
*NEXT WEEKEND*Saturday, November 4th, 2006 – Great North Coast Toy Train Show & Swap Meet – Show takes place from 9am to 3pm at the Portland Holiday Inn (8439 Columbia Blvd., Portland, OR). Admission for adults is $4 and children under 10 get in for free. Buy, sell, and trade trains and also get free appraisals!
*STARTING NEXT WEEKEND*Every Weekend in November, 2006 – Portland, Oregon – Mt. Hood Model Engineers 28th Annual Model Train Club Open House. This open house will take place every Saturday in November from noon to 5 PM. The admission is free, but donations are always welcome. *STARTING NEXT WEEKEND*Every Weekend in November, 2006 – Portland, Oregon – 2006 Columbia Gorge Model Railroad Club’s Annual Show. The Club will be open all 4 weekends in November. Dates for these shows are November 4-5, 2006, November 11-12, 2006, November 18-19, 2006, and November 25-26, 2006. The Club will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM. Admission Prices are $4 for Adults and $2 for Children ages 3 to 11. On Saturday November 11, 2006 Veterans can get in for free.
The Club is located at 2505 N Vancouver Ave. at the corner of N. Russell near Emmanuel Hospital. For more Information please call 503 28-Train (503-288-7246.) Snacks and Souvenirs are available in the Club room.

Saturday and Sunday, December 9th & 10th, 2006 – The LK&R Model Railroad Show and Swap Meet – This show is presented by the Longview Kelso and Rainier Model Railroad Club and will take place at the Riverside Community Church Gymnasium (303 3rd Street Rainier, OR behind the Chevron station). The hours for the show will be 10-5 on Saturday and 12-5 on Sunday. Admission is $2 or $1 with a can of food. Concessions will be available by Riverside Community Church. A great time to pick up a little something for that railroader on your Christmas list!
