Friday through Sunday, December 8th-10th, 2006 - ORHF's Holiday Express – For more information visit: http://www.orhf.org/events/06holiday/index.html. This features the SP&S 700 and the SP 4449 starting at Oaks Park for a 40 minutes trip through the scenic Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge.
Saturday and Sunday, December 9th & 10th, 2006 – The LK&R Model Railroad Show and Swap Meet – This show is presented by the Longview Kelso and Rainier Model Railroad Club and will take place at the Riverside Community Church Gymnasium (303 3rd Street Rainier, OR behind the Chevron station). The hours for the show will be 10-5 on Saturday and 12-5 on Sunday. Admission is $2 or $1 with a can of food. Concessions will be available by Riverside Community Church. A great time to pick up a little something for that railroader on your Christmas list!

Sunday, December 17th, 2006 – 7th Annual Portland Chapter TCA Open House & Train Meet – This show will take place in the basement of the Aloha Mall (185th Ave. and Tualatin Valley Highway) from Noon to 4:00 p.m. Open to the public with free admission. Oregon Food Bank donations are gladly accepted. Bring a can or box of food. See operating model train layouts in O-Gauge, G-Gauge, and Standard Gauge. Eight Train layouts will be operating simultaneously. There will be free parking, free toy train appraisals, and a free toy train maintenance clinic. Saturday, January 20th, 2007 – Spokane, Portland & Seattle Railway Historical Society 2007 Swap Meet – This swap meet will be held at the Holiday Inn at 8439 NE Columbia BLVD in Portland, OR from 10AM to 3PM. Vendor set-up will start at 7AM with 8’ tables for $19 each. For more information email Bruce Barney at bcbarney@msn.com.
Saturday, February 24th, 2007 – 22nd Annual Railroad Swap Meet – This is the Camp Withycombe Armory show and will take place from 10AM to 3PM. Admission is free (donations gladly accepted) and parking is free.
