Sunday, January 21st, 2007 –The Return to Steam Excursion - The Chelatchie Prairie Railroad (BYCX) is having a steam train run of their recently restored Alco 2-8-2T steam locomotive. The excursion will be an eight mile round trip from Yacolt to the Lewis River valley. Three different trips are planned at 10AM, 12PM, and 2PM. The tickets are $15 for Adults, $14 for Seniors (60+), $10 for Youth (5-12), $8 for Child (2-4) and Kids Under 2 are free. For more information please visit their website: http://www.bycx.com/.

Saturday, February 24th, 2007 – 22nd Annual Railroad Swap Meet – This is the Camp Withycombe Armory show and will take place from 10AM to 3PM. Admission is free (donations gladly accepted) and parking is free.
Saturday, March 10th, 2007 – 2007 Annual Invitational Scale Model Show “The Joy of Modeling 2” – This event is presented by the Lt. Alexander Pearson Modeleers Chapter of the International Plastic Modelers Society. The event will take place from 10:00AM until 3:00PM at the Pearson Air Museum in Vancouver, Washington (1115 E 5th, Vancouver, WA 98661). The contest entry for adults will be $5 for 3 models/diorama and $1 each for each additional model/diorama. For juniors (11-17) will be $1 for a model/diorama entry and for Juniors 10 and under it will be free. For Vendors the cost of each table will be $40 with 1 raffle prize item per table. Saturday and Sunday, April 14th & 15th,2007 – 19th Annual Model Railroad Show & Swapmeet – This event is presented by the Willamette Cascade Model Railroad Club and will take place the Lane County Fairgrounds (796 West 13th Avenue, Eugene, OR) from 10AM to 5PM Saturday and from 10AM to 4PM on Sunday. This event will feature operating train layouts in a variety of scales, trains, parts, novelties and memorabilia for sale, over 200 vendor tables representing 9 states, operation lifesaver display and educational info, and hourly door prizes for the public. Admission for Adults is $5.00 each and for kids 10 years and under it is free with an adult. Good for both days with ticket. For the early bird special (9am) tickets will be $10. For flyers and table reservation forms please stop by the shop. Saturday, April 28th, 2007 – 3rd Annual Rails By The Bay – This Pacific Northwest Railroad Prototype Modelers meet will take place from 9:00AM to 6:00PM at The Hampton Inn in Bellingham, Washington at the Airport location in Fox Hall. The event highlights railroads of the Pacific Northwest, but models of all prototypes are welcome. Some of the activities taking place during the day are: Model displays and dioramas, Free-Mo modular layout display area, Clinics, and Manufacturer displays. Admission is $18 but discounted admission of $15 for those who bring at least one model or module to display (finished or not.) Saturday & Sunday, May 5th & 6th, 2007 – Rickreall Grange Model Train Swapmeet – This event will take place from 9:00AM until 3:00PM at the Rickreall Grange Hall (280 Main Str. Rickreall, OR).
